General Information

Rowledge Tennis Club is a small LTA registered club situated in the heart of the village next to the village recreation ground. Membership is over 200 with half being Juniors.

The Club is properly run by an elected Committee, under the club rules, raising income from Membership fees however anyone and everyone is welcome to join. You don't have to be a good player (though any monster hitters out there could be useful on the teams!) but we hope that if you decide to join you enjoy playing tennis.

We have an Official LTA Coach who offers group and one to one lessons including strong Junior coaching sessions. We also run several Men and Women League Teams competing against other Clubs as well as our own annual Tournament, and a few social gatherings thrown in.

Most of the time the court are available for general use but there are also some scheduled weekly sessions.

Both hard surface courts are floodlit with play allowed up until 10pm. These Floodlights are free of charge to members and the tokens can be found in the boxes just below the floodlights switches.

The club is an associate of the LTA, this allows us to use advice and guidance from the LTA and, most importantly, means we have an allocation of two Wimbledon tickets.
We run a ballot, inclusive of all paid up members in the spring.
