The Ladies/Girls Box League will continue as normal.

Pyramid League Rules

  • All fully paid members will be able to enter the leagues.
  • Matches shall be decided by two normal sets (decided by a 7 point tie-break at 6 games all). If one set all then the match is decided by a 10 point tiebreak ie no third set
  • At any time, you may challenge any of the players ranked on your row or the row above you, by contacting that player via e-mail. The challenger provides balls for the match. If these balls are not new the challenged player can require use of his/her own new balls.
  • An official challenge is one only communicated by email. On site challenges will not count.
  • The match must occur within two weeks of the challenge. If a challenged player is unable to play during that period, or if the challenger receives no reply within that period, then the challenger wins by forfeit.
  • Same players may not have a rematch immediately following their match. Each must play another opponent before their rematch given that both players are within the same challenge zone. Exception: The #1 player on the pyramid will not have to play someone else following a match. They may play against the same opponent again but the opponent plays someone else first.
  • The winner of the match should forward the result to the email address on the contact us page. If the challenger wins, the challenger moves into that position number and the loser the challengers old space eg If number 7 beats number 3, 7 moves to number 3 spot and number 3 moves to number 7 spot.
  • Happy to receive comments on how we could improve this system to the above address.
  • Disputes should be addressed to the above address for an initial judgement, and any appeals may then be made to the Committee whose decision shall be final.
  • The rules of tennis and the LTA code of conduct for players must be applied to all matches.
  • When entering the league(s) you give consent for the inclusion of your email addresses on the secure Members Area Page for the purposes of the leagues only.
